It's the classic Robin Hood tale of stealing from the rich to feed the poor. Or something like that...

One thing I've always wondered is why doesn't anyone talk like noir characters? Not like it's socially acceptable for me to say, "You'd better sing like a canary or I'll make with the chin music"?

Agreed, noir needs to be protected and shown to anyone who'll appreciate the genre and the influential era of film history.

I always love to see that people are dedicated to the love of film, and not just for profit, but because they really care. It seems like that's hard to find these days.

I love film noir and neo noir. I'm glad there's an organization looking out for such a genre that seems to be forgotten. What can I do to help. (IThough at first I thought by FNF you meant Lupe Fiasco's First and Fifteenth.)

the best thing about the FNF is that it's more steak than sizzle - for as much as this thing could be a bunch of posers twiddling their fedoras, instead they actually care deeply about the genre and work to promote its awareness and preservation.
